Meet Joanna

Welcome to Joanna Jackson Therapy & Wellness. I believe therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what matters most. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I support adults navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, caregiving responsibilities, and life transitions, with a particular passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into motherhood. My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in respect for your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we can explore emotional and relational patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and create meaningful change that aligns with your values and the life you want to build.

My passion for supporting women through the transition to motherhood is reflected in my commitment to continued learning and professional growth in perinatal and family mental health. As I continue building my knowledge and experience in this area, I have future goals of pursuing the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) credential, and IMH-E® (Family Specialist) endorsement. These areas of professional development reflect my long-term goal of expanding my ability to support women and families through pregnancy, postpartum, infant feeding experiences, early parenthood, and the emotional, relational, and identity changes that can accompany this season of life.

My own experiences as a mother, navigating relocation, major life transitions, and building a business have deepened my appreciation for the resilience required to move through seasons of change. I understand that even meaningful transitions can bring uncertainty, shifting identities, and the need for support. I strive to bring empathy, authenticity, and genuine curiosity into the therapy room, creating a space where women feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate their own path into motherhood and beyond.
